• Supervised training for each participant with low trainee – trainer ratio.

• Basic Laparoscopy Skills course Aim of this course is to introduce participants to "Minimal Access Surgery". Didactic lectures will be given on various aspects of minimal access surgery. Participants will be practicing on the Endo-trainers, performing various tasks to improve the hand eye coordination under the guidance of senior faculty
  
• Intestinal anastomosis course Aim of this course is to give the participants "Hands on" experience of doing intestinal anastomosis using animal intestines. Participants will be doing 2 or 3 anastomosis using different techniques. Various types of stapling devices will be demonstrated and instructions in using the staplers will be given. Basic Surgical skills course The objective of this course is to train interns and residents of various surgical disciplines in core surgical skills. The course will be in the form of lectures and practice sessions on Theatre etiquette, gowning and gloving, knot tying, suturing etc.
